Job Details:
Seeking a senior level estimator with a strong background in large bridge construction projects.
Job Duties:
- Help mentor and oversee Jr. level estimators
- Make sure that project reports, plans and budgets are in-line with determined estimates
- Help generate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, logistics, suppliers, etc.
- Interact with other departments to create estimates and help ensure they stay within budget
- Travel to construction sites as needed
- Interact with clients
- Update estimates when needed
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience as an estimator for heavy construction projects, especially bridges
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or related field
- Heavy construction experience
- Client interaction experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work both individually and in a team setting
- Experience with engineer design software and construction scheduling software
