Electrical Controls Engineer
Salary - $65 to $80K
My client is looking for a strong Controls Engineer to join their team. This engineer will be responsible for implementing designs and programming that meet or exceed customer expectations in the fluid process industry. Areas include system architecture, electrical design, PLC and HMI programming, and more.
Required Experience:
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC, Logix; other platforms a plus)
- HMI design experience (Wonderware, FactoryTalk View; other platforms a plus)
- Knowledge of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet)
- Low-voltage electrical design & layout (UL 508A panel design knowledge a plus)
- Ability to read Process & Instrumentation drawings (P&IDs)
- Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge or adaptability to the Fluid Process Industry
