Job Details:
Seeking a senior engineer with a strong background in Transit related projects.
Job Duties:
- Create designs for transit infrastructure projects
- Meet with clients to discuss projects
- Visit job sites
- Create project specifications
- Work with other staff members
- Use design software to create prints and documentation
- Help set and oversee budgets
- Help with estimates and timelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineer
- Illinois PE license
- 10+ years transit project experience
- Experience with design and design software
- Construction experience
- Estimating and budgeting experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Client interaction experience
- Ability to travel as needed
