CISCO SDN Research & Development Network Architect
Global technology leader is seeking Network Subject Matter Expert Architect. If you have most of the following, please contact me asap!
Designing and architecting of network and security Architecture.
Implementation and Operational level experience in Network & Security domain.
Handson experience on Cisco Router and Switches
Good Understanding of Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF,BGP, MPLS,VRRP,HSRP/static routing. Others: Multicast, Tunnels, IPV6 &IPV4.
Good Understanding of Switching protocols & methodologies: VLANS, Spanning-Tree,VTP,Ether Channel,Stacking,802.1q tagging/trunking, Port Aggregation, Power Over Ethernet (POE), Failover/Fallback of Hardware & Link (High Availability) etc .
Manage and maintain the Firewalls/VPN/IPS/IDS/Network Access Control/Proxy/Antivirus/Log Management/Vulnerability scanning across the enterprise.
Experience in Cisco ASA , Checkpoint firewall, other OEM Firewalls will be added advantage.
Experience in WAN optimization like Riverbed, Bluecoat etc.
Good understanding Network Management/Monitoring Tools Like Solarwinds Orion,HPOV NNM,Nagios & Cisco Prime and other
Good Understanding of DNS,DHCP, NTP,NAT,PAT etc.
QoS and traffic management (Quality Assurance)
Troubleshooting knowledge of internal and external Network connectivity and security issues. 15. Network Audit/ Risk Analysis and Mitigation plans
Capacity planning and analysis.
Good understanding of SDN concepts and Network Virtualization basics
Familiar with at least one of Openstack/ESX/KVM environments
Basic understanding of virtual switching, VM networking
Experience working on at least one virtual network device - vASA/CSR1000v/vSRX etc.
Experience in designing and implementing overlay WAN technologies such as DMVPN, SDWAN etc.
Experience in Data Center networking concepts such as tenancy design, VXLAN, ToR/EoR design etc.
