Security Engineer – Cloud (AWS) – Wilmington DE
We are currently looking for an Information Security Professional to join our team in Wilmington DE. This is a full-time direct hire position; the ideal candidate will meet the following description:
Responsibilities
• Perform technical security assessments, code audits and design reviews.
• Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Advocate security and secure practices throughout Google.
• Conduct research to identify new attack vectors against Google's products and services.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
• BS degree in Computer Science is required
• Experience working in a cloud (AWS) environment is required
• 4+ years of experience in application-level vulnerability testing and code-level security auditing.
Preferred qualifications:
• MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Relevant work experience in web application security.
• Software development experience would be a plus
• Foundation in and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols and applied cryptography.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
