INTERIOR DESIGNER
Well-established architecture & design firm based in the DC/Baltimore Metro area is seeking a talented, degreed Interior Designer.
The Interior Designer is responsible for the completion of client projects, both team-based and independent; will meet customer specifications while ensuring the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, and will do so in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
The Interior Designer may be responsible to conduct formal project presentations and assist in developing and negotiating contracts.
This position will work closely with sales representatives, vendors and customers to define specifications and identify materials/products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate with Sales representatives and other internal resources to develop customer specifications, make formal sales presentations, conduct site visits and collaborates in developing proposals and ensure the timely completion of projects, on time and within budgets.
• Develop and complete preliminary design through final concept per customer specifications.
• Develops product, manufacturing and production knowledge base through training, and will assist in developing estimates according to procedures.
• Utilizes CAD skills to build floor plans, perimeters, elevations and presentations as needed.
• Developing 3D rendering proficiency. Develops studio and prelim production knowledge base through training and collaboration with CAD, Projects Managers, Studio Art and Prelim departments to foster inter-departmental relationships and communication
• Complete other assignments as necessary.
• Remain current in technology and changes in the industry
Salary: $60-70K
