Minimum:
- Four year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution
- Professional registration
- Certification in one area of expertise such as LEED, Value Engineering, or Energy Engineer
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Knowledge of CPM schedule analysis
- Proficient in one discipline specific design software and design management systems
- Active membership in one professional organization society

Responsibilities:
- Manage the quality, schedule and budget of subordinate projects
- Identify resources required to exceed client performance requirements
- Manage design to client and regulatory requirements
- Keep management advised of all quality, schedule and budget variances in a timely manner
- Shop drawing review and disposition
- Preparing project documents and reports
- Maintaining project files
- Creating and enforcing project quality plans
- Data and document entry into various platforms
- Reporting safety, health and quality issues to management
- Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation
- Development of standards

- Stamp plans
- Assist management as directed

Summary: Manages Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering section. Responsible for the quality, schedule and productivity of the work as well as the human, software and other resources required to exceed client and company requirements. Assists in proposal development and client interfaces ranging from new business development to assisting in receivable collections. Typical design work includes HVAC work and associated calculations, plumbing systems design, piping systems design and flow /pressure calculations, sizing and specifying of mechanical apparatus such as boilers and chillers, sprinkler system layout, underground utilities plan and profiles and irrigation systems. Participates in the creation of standards, the management of subordinate staff design reviews and stamping of plans.
