My client provides reliable, cost-effective demolition and excavation services to meet some of the toughest challenges in Eastern Pennsylvania. From bridges to industrial plants, we have expertise in demolishing all types of structures. We provide turnkey excavation solutions for projects including land clearing, roadway construction, and water main installation. Clients include schools and colleges, industrial parks, shopping centers, and residential developments. With over 100 pieces of equipment, we can assemble a prepared crew and be on the job site within hours.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a minimum of five (5) years experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and staff key field positions.
- Supervision of project superintendents and foreman.
- Plan, organize and manage materials, equipment and subcontractors.
- Supervision and inspection of subcontractors work and quality performance.
- Develop and manage construction schedules as required.
- Establish project objectives, schedules, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
- Proactively recognize and manage potential claim/change orders/value engineering issues on projects
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
- Uphold & maintain all Safety policies and standards on all Projects.
- Review & finalize project costs & adjustments upon project completion.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience required.
- Considerable knowledge of safety procedures and hazards related to construction is a plus.
