Application Security Software Engineer (work from home/remote)
Full time perm - competitive base + bonus
My client is seeking an Application Security Software Engineer to work from home with less than 10% travel. This is a full time permanent position with a growing company. Qualified candidates will have most of the following:
- Advanced knowledge of security systems, technology packages, and security assessment methodologies for large and complex computing environments
- Recent experience developing applications preferably using with C++, .NET, or Java but will consider other languages
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Perl, etc.)
- Expertise in security topics
- Ability to analyze risk in complex environments and articulate results to all levels of management
- Ability to evaluate technical specifications and identify, document, and explain security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
- Must have a degree in computer science or similar
