Job Details:
We are looking for a Sr PHP Web Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time direct hire position with a competitive salary and great work environment! The ideal candidate will meet the following:
POSITION SUMMARY
The PHP Web Engineer will help architect and execute both high-performance and scalable web solutions. You will work in small teams to ensure proper development techniques. Role will require frequent collaboration with a team of Designers and Developers
JOB FUNCTIONS
• Develop prototypes and final implementations for website and in-house applications
• Support and extend existing implementations.
• Analyze and design code to improve execution and user flows.
REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of object-oriented PHP experience
• 3+ years of experience with MySQL-based development and architecture
• Experience in high-scale/high-availability environments
• Understanding of software design principles and best practices
• Experience with an industry standard MVC framework, such as Laravel, etc.
• Experience with a Javascript application framework, such as Angular.js
• Experience with an industry standard responsive CSS framework, such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Experience with Version Control software
• High level of communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic start up environment
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with Drupal development
• Marketing tools: Google Analytics, Majestic SEO, Moz, Google Keyword Planner, Optimizely, and any other SEO related tools/software, Upwork
• Cloud-based platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Cloudfront) or Azure
