Job Details:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Inventory Control Specialist. This position reports to the Materials Manager. Responsibilities for this position include: receiving, staging/storage of inventory, receiving/processing returns, and inventory control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Inventories consist of work in process parts, parts shipped to vendors for additional services, shop supplies, tooling and uniforms.
•Monthly cycle counts and annual inventory counts will be performed.
•Experience in inventory transaction processing in an ERP system environment is required.
•The successful candidate will work closely with finance, purchasing, shipping/receiving and operations to establish and maintain effective inventory control processes and procedures.
Experience and Skills:
**Requirements**
•High School graduate or equivalent
•Two+ years related experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with inventory transactions and physical control of inventory
•Hands on experience using an ERP system
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
•Strong commitment to detail and error-free performance
•Have a mechanical aptitude (specific to manufacturing floor employees)
•Extremely intuitive with problem solving and resolutions
•Strong planning, organization, time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines
•Must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter
•Team player
•Maintains a pristine office environment and has a ‘place for everything and everything in place’
•Able to work with minimal supervision, working well independently and in teams
•Must be able to lift 50 lbs. for certain inventory items
