Retail Store Director - Bilingual Spanish English
Growing from 11-25 stores!
As the Retail Store Director you will:
· Recruit and hire the best Area Managers;
· Train these managers for success and maximum growth of their markets;
· Manage these managers to develop high potentials and identify needs of poor performers;
· Prioritize adherence to company guidelines and make recommendations for adaptation if unique Program needs exist;
· Strategize and own KPI goals, such as clothes donation targets;
· Financial and expense management of markets;
· Track trends based on available data and forecast financial performance;
· Collaborate with Director, Area Managers, and Marketing to increase donations;
· Review security tapes for safety, security, or loss prevention issues;
· Meet with community officials or local charities executives to foster nonprofit partner long-term relationships;
· Liaison with call center, trucking, marketing, real estate and HR directors;
· Assist director in identifying new locations;
· Other duties as assigned.
Required education and experience needed to be successful as the Regional Manager:
· 5 experience years in a management position supervising employees;
· Demonstrated ability to manage employees remotely;
· Experience working in a high-volume customer service setting;
· Solid examples of developing a large regional or national program;
Desired education and experience:
· Experience in inventory management, stocking, logistics, trucking delivery would be great!
· Courses and experience with recruiting, training, and counseling employees;
Skills needed to be successful as the Regional Manager:
· Ability to partner with Director to understand the business and deliver results for Program;
· Self-starter who defines objectives and is accountable;
· Motivator who can recruit exceptional people and maximize retention;
· Attention to detail;
· Ability to problem-solve, deliver effective solutions, and be accountable for outcomes.
