Lead High-Impact Building Projects Across Southern California
We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team delivering innovative commercial, educational, hospitality, and multi-residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed engineer who thrives in leadership, project execution, and client-facing environments.
Responsibilities:
• Lead HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design for new construction and renovation projects
• Develop energy models, feasibility studies, and utility load calculations
• Coordinate BMS controls, sequences of operation, and building pressurization plans
• Manage construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and site meetings
• Direct BIM/Revit production teams and coordinate multidisciplinary design efforts
• Support proposal development, client communication, and project scheduling
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of consulting/design engineering experience
• Active California P.E. license required
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam, EnergyPro, and MS Office
• Experience with DSA/educational projects and city approvals required
• LEED AP BD+C and Hydrotec experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
