Landscape Architecture Manager
An established multidisciplinary design and engineering firm in the Carolinas is seeking a creative and entrepreneurial Land Planner / Landscape Architecture Group Manager to lead and grow a dynamic planning and design team.
Responsibilities
- Lead master planning, rezoning, and land entitlement projects
- Manage client relationships and business development efforts
- Oversee staffing, mentoring, and department growth
- Present projects to planning boards, councils, and community stakeholders
- Direct preparation of proposals, contracts, budgets, and financial reporting
- Collaborate on mixed-use, residential, commercial, parks, and recreation projects
- Guide project delivery, QA/QC processes, and agency coordination
Qualifications
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, or Civil Engineering preferred
- Professional licensure preferred (PLA, AICP, or PE)
- 8+ years of land development, planning, or landscape architecture experience
- Strong background in rezoning, entitlement, and master planning
- Skilled in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation graphics
- Proven leadership, public speaking, and client management abilities
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
