Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead and oversee a variety of land surveying projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and quality of all survey deliverables, while supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and certify ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys
- Sign and seal final survey documents
- Manage survey projects including scope, schedule, and quality control
- Supervise and mentor survey technicians and field crews
- Review survey data, plats, and mapping for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, developers, and municipal agencies
- Assist with proposals, project planning, and client communication
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with ALTA/NSPS surveys, plats, CSMs, and boundary surveys
- Strong knowledge of surveying standards, statutes, and land records
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD platforms
- Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills
