🏗️ Project Coordinator – Structural Steel (North NJ)
Well-established and growing structural steel subcontractor in North New Jersey is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with strong benefits and long-term career growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop conceptual budgets and project plans from drawings and specifications
- Perform field measurements for steel stairs, rails, gates, ladders, and miscellaneous metals
- Assist with oversight of steel subcontractors, engineering drawings, and construction contracts
- Create cost-effective erection plans and project schedules
- Review and develop structural steel shop drawings
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
What We’re Looking For:
- 0–5 years of construction experience
- Structural steel building experience is a strong plus
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
- Strong communication skills and leadership potential
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
