Legal Administrative Assistant (Class Action Wage & Hour)
70,000 - 85,000
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced legal administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Class Action Wage & Hour law and procedures, as well as excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with all aspects of Class Action Wage & Hour and litigation cases, including:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as petitions, schedules, and orders
- Conducting legal research
- Communicating with clients, creditors, and the courts
- Managing case files and deadlines
- Provide administrative support to the healthcare/public policy team, including:
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails
- Scheduling appointments and meetings
- Managing calendars and deadlines
- Preparing and maintaining files
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Class Action Wage & Hour Legal Administrative Assistant or in a related role
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
