Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in mechanical systems design, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for a wide range of facility types, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Conduct energy modeling, load calculations, and equipment selection for sustainable and efficient building systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Contribute to LEED certification processes and sustainable design initiatives.
  • Participate in system analysis, troubleshooting, and forensic engineering for existing facilities.
  • Engage in master planning for new construction, renovations, and expansions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within a specified time frame preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within healthcare, laboratory, or high-tech facilities.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools).
  • Strong understanding of LEED requirements and sustainable design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
