Job Details:
My client is a large Pump OEM that sells specific pumps to the refinery industry. Regional Business Manager duties include:
• Maintain direct relationship with Customer’s Engineering technology groups and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to assure company’s products compliance to Customer’s Engineering standards.
• Develop reports for market considered and/or required technical and design advancements specific to the product.
• Act as liaison between Product Engineering and Industry committees such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineer) and API) American Petroleum Institute)
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
• B.S or B.A Degree in Technical or Business discipline
• At least two (2) years’ experience interacting with representatives and/or distributors and five (5) years of direct customer contact and selling in a technical product application environment.
• M.B.A degree is considered desirable, but not a necessary requisite.
• Strong work experience record in business
• Managing personnel is a plus.
• Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black Belt accreditation is highly valued.
• Superior computer operation skills are required, including advanced skills with application software based in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access and Outlook
• Mobile computing and communication are a requisite.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use.
This position is fully remote but they would like the person to live in Texas in case of client visits.
