Senior Trademark Paralegal
90,000 - 110,000
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of US and foreign trademark activities, providing top-notch service to our domestic and international clients. With a focus on time management and precision, you will play a vital role in managing trademark portfolios of varying sizes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the process and workflow of US and foreign trademark filings, prosecution, renewals, and conflicts
- Act as the first line of communication for trademark prosecution, escalating matters to the managing attorney and relaying instructions to outside counsel
- Screen, search, and clear proposed trademarks
- Conduct foreign and domestic trademark clearance searches
- Coordinate the annual renewal activity for trademark registrations worldwide
- Assist in trademark budget planning and cost management
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Trademark Paralegal preferred
- Proficient with electronic research tools and USPTO trademark filing systems
- Broad knowledge of US and foreign trademark rules and procedures
- Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
