Structural Design Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with experience to join our dynamic team. This role offers opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects, from bridge and culvert design to structural rehabilitation, providing ample potential for personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis for various infrastructure projects, including bridges, culverts, and walls.
- Conduct structural inspections and prepare inspection reports.
- Develop and prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Highway Structures.
- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland.
- Experience with public sector clients and/or local agencies.
- Experience in the inspection and design of highway and transit structures, including load rating analyses.
- Proficiency in CADD drafting using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software.
