Join the team of packaging industry leaders as a Senior Controls Engineer with a premiere manufacturer. Bring your expertise in automation and problem-solving to our dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop PLC, advanced motion, and HMI programs for a range of Allen Bradley Controllers
- Supervise panel build process and review progress daily
- Integrate vision systems for orientation and feature detection
- Review customer specifications and develop project plans
- Interact with customers to exchange integration information and formulate installation plans
- Create project documentation, including operator manuals and user guides
- Travel periodically for customer site visits and installations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical engineering design experience preferred
- Attitude of teamwork, commitment to customer satisfaction, and embracing company culture
- Proficient knowledge of engineering science and technology
- Experience with cyclic rotary motion and Ethernet/IP networks a plus
