Job Details:
Highly respected, national engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Manager to their team in their Cincinnati, OH office!
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/technology, construction management or construction engineering is required.
- 10+ years of experience in the construction and/or contracting industry.
- Previous project and construction management experience is required.
- Must have previous experience in construction inspection/testing and budget management.
- Must be able to prove working knowledge of general trades, plumbing, site development, HVAC, electrical and roofing.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a registered and insured vehicle.
- Provide daily supervision and evaluations to staff on projects ranging from public works to architectural projects.
- Must be able to prepare budgets, all while being responsible to maintain and monitor the budget and bill as needed.
- Review shop drawings and submittals.
- Must have negotiation skills.
- Must have great client communication skills- you will serve as the liaison between all parties.
