Electrical Engineer
Role:
As an Electrical Engineer, this individual will be supporting an Engineering manager and responsible for managing multiple electrical projects from concept through establishing a scope through execution. Thaw would include drawings, layouts, designs, monitoring project progress, integrate solutions, testing, support new product development, reporting, failure analysis, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Engineering Manager with multiple electrical projects
- Work interactively in cross functional teams to produce new products and improve existing products
- Produce drawings, layouts, schematics, documentation
- Perform failure analysis
- Ensure designs meet product specifications and comply with industry and regulatory standards
- Produce presentation and documentation as needed for engineering and customer reviews of design work
- Support manufacturing in troubleshooting electrical issues during first article builds and integration as well as standard product as required
- Identify key risks in designs or product and work with team on mitigation plans and or prototype tests to reduce/eliminate risk of electrical modules
- Provide support to Project Managers and Product Engineers
- Presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required in Engineering.
- 4+ years of electrical design; low voltage
- Detail oriented, logical thinker, with the ability to work independently on multiple competing priorities with moderate supervision in a professional engineering environment.
- Prior experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
Relocation:
A relocation package is being for the right person that is not local but willing to relocate for this role.
Working Situation:
This is a hybrid working situation that requires 3 days in the office. This will require some travel to Pennsylvania as well.
