Superintendent – Sitework/Excavation
Site Development Construction–Excavation – Site Work Construction
Our client, an Excavation & Site Development Construction contractor in the Chester County, PA area is actively seeking an experienced Site Superintendent. This role will manage a variety of site work/ construction projects (Excavation, Sitework, Land Development, etc.) throughout the area.

Sample Responsibilities:
- This role includes an understanding of site work construction, along with the ability to interact & effectively communicate with owners, inspectors, field personnel, sub-contractors, and team members in a professional timely and efficient manner.
- Site work construction field understanding, accurate & efficient time, and staff management
- Excellent people skills
- Manage field operations of assigned project(s)
- Prepare & implement project schedules (daily/weekly/monthly etc.)
- Project equipment and manpower needs
- Manage field operations including project scheduling, contract documents and scope of work
- Supervision and participation ensuring work meets contract specifications
- Coordinate and execute daily and weekly plans
- Perform jobsite quality control checks
- Assess jobsite productivity, quality, safety, and scheduling of manpower and equipment
- Review equipment and manpower to maximize project efficiency
- Ensure project progress meets client expectations
- Track project progress
- Report issues and escalate to management as needed
Requirements:
- Approximately four (4) or more years’ experience in the sitework/excavation/heavy civil construction industry with relevant project experience
- Strong communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Computer proficient: Microsoft programs as well as exposure to industry software a plus
