Job Details:
PROCESS ENGINEER
NJ-based manufacturer of medical equipment and products is seeking a professional, experienced Process Engineer to join their team. This position will require the right employee to be proactive, independent, and self-driven while still being able to work as part of a team. The right candidate will be expected to grow with the company.
Specific areas of responsibility for these positions include:
· Ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets all scheduling goals as dictated by company objectives.
· Will work with plant supervisors to resolve any production issues and avoid any manufacturing bottlenecks throughout the facility.
· Troubleshoot and the lead the repair of process equipment and system as required.
· Ensure optimization and improvement of equipment and processes for long term robustness and reliability.
· Assist with the motivation and development of a world class processing team.
· Help to comply with safety regulations throughout all departments.
· Oversee and maintain clean and orderly work areas for all employees.
Required traits of an ideal candidate are:
· An Engineering degree in either an industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering discipline as well as appropriate levels of hands-on professional experience (3-5 years) in a manufacturing setting.
· Must be willing to embrace a ‘hands on’ working environment.
· Experience in leading a workforce to reach overall company goals.
· Dependability, reliability, and excellent written/verbal communication skills are a must.
· Must have a detailed understanding of production and manufacturing procedures.
· Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Must show attention to detail with job responsibilities on a daily basis.
