Job Details:
Cloud Engineer
Industry powerhouse is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join their team. This position if hybrid in Center City Philadelphia with 2 days in office with additional WFH once established.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions that are secure, scalable, and efficient.
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and provide appropriate cloud solutions.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure that all systems are monitored, logged, and alerting systems are in place.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer.
- Experience with at least one modern functional backend language, Kubernetes, Linux, Shell Scripting, Cloud Native, and microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
