Assistant Project Manager- Project Engineer- Civil Construction
Heavy Highway Construction- Road Construction- Civil Construction – Site Construction - Excavation
Our client, a civil construction contractor is actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Sr Project Engineer for a full time permanent staff role, focused on highway/road/site work/civil construction and excavation projects.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in engineering, construction management or related field desired
- ~ (2) Two or more years of relevant construction experience
- Professional credentials – PMP Certification, Engineer in Training (EIT), or Associate Constructor (AC) is a plus
- The ability to effectively communicate in written and spoken word.
- Understanding and agreement of the importance and necessity for safety on the work site
- Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
- Understands project cost control and change order management
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must possess effective communication skills written, electronic and verbal
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and related programs
