GEOTECHNICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
New Jersey based civil & environmental engineering firm is seeking a qualified Geotechnical Project Engineer to add to their expanding team.
Responsibilities
Create geotechnical data reports, geotechnical interpretation reports, geotechnical design reports for various project types.
Create temporary support of excavation designs, reports, and drawings.
Produce tunnel lining design documentation, including lateral earth pressure calculations.
Perform ground settlement and construction impact analysis of subsurface structures and 3rd party infrastructure (e.g., buildings, utilities).
Create and oversee the implementation of settlement monitoring plans.
Plan and execute geotechnical investigations.
Assist in the collection and review of as-built drawings and existing geotechnical data for subsurface due diligence.
Provide geotechnical recommendations for construction means and methods.
Perform construction period observation and inspection.
Support brick operations with geotechnical recommendations and testing oversight.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant, hands-on geotechnical engineering experience.
