Job Details:
Senior Tax Accountant - Law Firm - Hybrid
Role:
Integral part of the tax department, assisting in the preparation of partnership tax returns and other duties assigned by the Manager, Tax.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee state and/or city tax audits and assist with Federal tax audits as required.
- Assist with foreign tax filings, including preparing workpapers and analyzing book/tax differences.
- Ensure Federal, state and city tax returns are accurate, timely prepared and filed, including Foundation, federal excise, commercial rent tax, property tax
- Review work prepared by staff and assist with the preparation of complex Federal, state and city income tax returns, including the Firm's partnership return and supporting schedules.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of public experience
- Individual and international tax compliance experience a plus
- CPA a plus
