Job Details:
Well respected and growing consulting engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to its talented staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design complex, electrical systems.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to prepare 2D and 3D construction documents.
- Work closely with in-house disciplines, clients, and owners to coordinate designs.

Perform short circuit, overcurrent protective device coordination, and arc flash studies.

Perform lighting calculations.

Leading the design of projects

Preparing reports, cost estimating, specification development, performing calculations and selecting equipment for specification, and preparing construction documents for bidding

Analysis, field investigation, and forensic investigation

Represent the firm in all communications with clients, architects, other subconsultants, contractors, and other project design team members
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- Possesses a solid technical base with a desire to learn, lead, and grow.
- Prioritizes effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures.
- Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes to generate construction documents
- Arc Flash and RCD knowledge a plus
- Experience with K-12, Higher Education, Hospital, Government projects
Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years experience in electrical engineering
- PE Required
- LEED Accreditation preferred
