Network Engineer
We are seeking a talented, motivated and creative candidate who is passionate about technology and consulting. The successful Network / Help Desk Engineer will provide IT support onsite.
- Provide high level support via Help Desk, remote access and onsite.
- Perform product and technical support for all versions of Microsoft's core business applications and IT infrastructure such as Windows Server and PC, Anti-Virus software, etc.
- Troubleshoot VPN, remote access, printer, router, HW, SW, OS user issues.
- Monitor network and resolve issues related to LAN / WAN connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and other security products.
- Document actions taken to resolve issues, client contact information, network diagrams, expenses, etc. in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
- Interface with clients and vendors to implement projects and resolve technical issues to client satisfaction.
Required:
- Bachelor Degree in CS, CIS, IT or related field a plus
- Current certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CCA preferred
- 1+ years hands on technical experience and working knowledge of LAN/WAN operations and protocols
- Good knowledge of Windows Server 2008 & 2012 and Active Directory administration
- Good experience supporting Cisco Routers and firewalls
- Ability to relay technical information to emplyees with varying skill levels in a manner in which they can understand
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
