Regional Category Manager - Assets, Plants and Production
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Top industrial gases client looking to add a Regional Category Manager to their team in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- To implement & drive category management processes
- Customer engineering services and client’s applications
- Act as speaking partner between Procurement and the main business and operational areas
- Work with the business to identify improvement opportunities to save money or increase the added value
- Ensure the commodity team is strong, motivated and actively engaged in the business
- Understand industry trends and technology innovations that can be leverage within operations
- Promote the values of the company
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain
- Business or supply chain master’s degree is a plus
- Prior experience in a managerial position
- Candidate should have strong influencing skills to help provide change throughout the company
- Understanding of key business drivers and ability to strategically drive a business
- Multi-Lingual a plus: Fluent in English as well as able to communicate in either Spanish or Portuguese a +
- Previous Industry experience is highly preferred
