Commercial Lines Manager
Marque company is expanding its talented team and hiring a Commercial Lines Manager. Qualified candidates will have similar experience to the following:
- Overseeing all work done in the Commercial Lines Department (CLD)
- Review, separate & distribute mail to CLD Account Managers.
- Inform CLD Account Managers of any change in agency or company policy or procedures.
- Evaluate CLD employees on an ongoing basis with an annual review.
- Train new CLD employees.
- Develop & maintain a good working relationship with our company commercial lines representatives & underwriters.
- Hold departmental meetings as necessary on a regular basis to discuss any problems & to relay any agency or company information.
- Assist CLD Account managers in handling any problems they may not be able to handle on their own.
- Attend quarterly NJAA Commercial Lines Council meetings & be an active participant of the council.
- Quote and write new call in business for the agency.
- Monitor new business production for timeliness of quotes & hit ratio.
- Coordinate the renewal review & recommendation program.
- Deliver & review renewals for certain assigned accounts.
- Provide underwriting & sales assistance for producers.
- Greet & provide sales & underwriting services to walk-in commercial business.
- Monitor premium collection.
- Participate in weekly sales & management meetings, held each Tuesday at 8:30 & 9:30AM respectively.
- Check daily & update email & Activity logs.
- Collect weekly “5-15” reports from CLD Account Managers & submit to management via email, along with your own report.
- Perform any special projects at the request of management.
