Mortgage BI Developer ( Tableau / Power BI / R / Python ) Full time Remote is available
My client is looking for a BI Developer. In this role you will use data and technology to design, create, and implement reports and dashboards to support and enhance the business users' data-driven decision-making. Solutions include Tableau/PowerBI dashboards, SSRS reports, and other BI tools. You will meet with business users, gather requirements, manage projects, perform technical development, manage testing plans, and train end-users to use and interpret reports created. Technical skills are essential, but you must be able to translate those abilities into solutions that provide value.
Requirements
2+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2019 or equivalent RDBMS software.
Advanced SQL querying skills. Minimum of two years using SQL to create advanced reporting on complex data sets.
Experience in a data warehouse environment. Using and understanding fact tables, dimension tables, snapshot tables, lookup tables.
2+ years with one or more BI visualization tools
Tableau
Qlik
Power BI
Additional technical experience preferred:
Data-driven programming languages like R or Python.
Writing reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Crystal Reports.
Web development experience with tools like Angular.
High degree of attention to detail and personal accountability.
Innate desire to learn new skills and technologies.
Must be self-directed with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
