SAP Data Architect
The SAP Data Architect leads initiatives to develop and implement business-driven end-to-end solutions to build out a robust data management and to define the technical enablement centered around the SAP S/4 platform (S/4, Fiori, HANA, BW).
Your responsibilities include:
- Work with leadership to recommend and develop the Data architecture vision, strategy and roadmap.
- Translate business goals into appropriate solutions while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by speaking expertly on both the business goals and the solution capabilities.
- Promotes simplified integrations solutions with a business process first approach.
- Promote best practices on how to leverage solutions, as well as establish standard end user processes and governance.
- Leads the design of the End to End solution data architecture for data management and analytics.
- Collaborate with internal customers (i.e. functional/subject matter experts and/or end users) in various business units to build knowledge regarding their specific business area, unique processes, and operational data needed to support business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Engineering, Data Science or a related field, required
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years of related experience within a corporate environment required; experience must include successful track record with data modeling, ETL processing, data warehouse architecture, understanding of reporting platforms, and machine learning and predictive analytic solutions
- Strong experiences with SAP and cloud analytics environments.
- Strong knowledge of leading practices and SAP S/4 solution capabilities for the in-scope business analytics, including finance, customer, procurement, supply chain management, manufacturing, quality management, logistics and order to cash
- Experience in data management and reporting for various SAP Solutions such as SAP S4, SAP IBP, and SAP GTS
- Ability to demonstrate successful record of accomplishment working in cross-functional teams with both business and technical resources
- Ability to balance several projects while delivering high quality results in a timely manner.
- Must be able to adapt to change quickly (high flexibility) and demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of project and product management is preferred
- Experience in regulated and validated environment, medical device or life sciences industry background preferred
- Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members
- Outspoken and passionate about delivering well designed solutions that exceed business objectives and drive business success
