Sr. Electrical Control Systems Engineer - Manufacturing
Renowned manufacturer seeks veteran Controls Engineer with Allen Bradley PLC/HMI programming, design, troubleshooting and retrofitting experience out of automated manufacturing equipment environment:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Troubleshooting and maintenance upgrades/controls retrofitting of automated manufacturing equipment
- 6+ years of Control Systems engineering, ideally within manufacturing environment
- PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD programming, design, upgrades and troubleshooting
- High speed machinery experience a plus
- Programming Allen Bradley PLC 5, Logix 5000 PLC’s and 5000 Safety PLC’s
- Programming and troubleshooting Logix 5000 motion (Servos)
- Programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley Ultra 3000 & 5000 servos
- High speed machinery, up to 1800 parts per minute; High speed vision systems
- Allen Bradley PanelView
- Upgrade older control systems and servo systems to Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC with Kinetix servos
- Fanucs robotics would be a plus
- Complex (complete re-design) of high speed machinery
- Networking
- Allen Bradley PanelView a plus
- Wonderware InTouch, Historian, System Platform
- Allen Bradley motion 5000 servos a plus
- ControlNet, EtherNet I/P, DeviceNet, DataHighway and Remote I/O
- High speed Vision system experience
- Ability to dive in to resolve machinery issues as part of a unit
- Equipment install & implementation of PLC control systems within a manufacturing environment
- Discrete component programming & device communication programming
- AutoCAD
- Tremendous team skills communicative skills; ability to work as part of a unit
