Jr. Electrical Controls Engineer - minimal travel
Award winning Automation Systems Integrator seeks Junior or Intermediate level Controls Engineer. The successful candidate will have the process controls exp, Programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD's:
- 1+ years of Controls Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
- Chillers, Hot Water Systems, Steam Systems, Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Generators, Cooling Towers, Air Handling Units, UPS, Power Monitoring, Leak Detection
- PLC programming from scratch: Rockwell/Allen Bradley RSLogix, MicroLogix, SLC, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Modicon, Schneider Electric, GE
- HMI programming FactoryTalk View, Ignition, Wonderware
- SCADA development
- Industrial scale HVAC systems a major plus
- Preferred: Central Plant Utilities, Nuclear Power Plants, Coal Fired Power Plants, Oil & Gas, Cogen Plants, Gas Plants, Combined cooling heat and power, Mission Critical, Pharma/Biotech, Semiconductor, Water/Wastewater, Food & beverage or other process controls industries
- Power, controls and instrumentation systems
- P&ID's
- DDC BMS systems a big plus
- Minimal travel (under 5-10%)
- Great oral and written communication
- Team-oriented attitude required
