Financial Reporting Accountant
Greater Philadelphia Area (Relocation Assistance is offered)
Role:
The Financial Reporting Accountant will report to an Assistant Controller and be primarily responsible for working on the organizations SEC filings, incentive based compensation, and technical accounting. This individual will also be working with a consolidations team, revenue recognition, and financial analysis departments.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Assistant Controller to help the team prepare the organization's SEC Filings (10-K / 10-Q)
- Prefer accounting functions that are specialized around incentive based compensation. This would include financial statement preparation, disclosures, reporting, and assisting with closing the books.
- Work cross functionally with consolidations, corporate decision support, and financial analysis
- Assess and help implement or update internal controls, standards, and efficiencies
- Special projects and/or ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of relevant auditing or public accounting experience with publicly traded clients and/or within a publicly traded organization. Would consider someone with corporate SEC experience
- A completed CPA or progress towards is highly preferred
