SR. CIVIL ENGINEER - WATER RESOURCES (TOP 10 PLACES TO WORK IN NE)
We're looking for a Senior Water Resources Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience and who is looking to advance to a Project Manager position. The successful candidate shall have a minimum of a B.S. in civil engineering or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school and a P.E. is preferred. The candidate shall have a sound experience with performing hydrological analyses using HydroCAD or HEC-HMS, analysis and design of closed drainage systems using StormCAD or Hydraflow, analyses and design of stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP’s), and design of site work including site grading, roadways, and drainage and utilities for building projects. The successful candidate shall be able to develop and design water supply network layout, able to coordinate and integrate the design by other disciplines, and be able to perform construction administration. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and AutoCAD Civil 3D are preferred as the selected candidate will be responsible for preparing study and design reports, assisting the firm in preparing proposals for clients, and interacting with internal project teams.
