Estimator
One of the top players that specializes in the structural steel and ornamental construction arena is looking to hire a Senior Estimator. Position is full time/permanent with outstanding medical, dental, 401k, and vacation sick. - 5+ years’ experience working as an Estimator on structural steel erection, miscellaneous stairs/railings and gates for commercial, educational and other facilities.
- Material take offs, cost estimates, and monitor material prices.
- Obtain approvals on drawings, design calculations, and materials.
- Experience negotiating and assembling bid packages with prospective clients.
- Experience doing take-offs for high profile steel projects.
- Estimate change order requests.
- Excellent communication and written skills
