Mechanical Estimator – Commercial
Our client is a Highly Reputable HVAC Firm, specializing in mid-sized commercial projects. We are seeking to assist them in the hiring of a Mechanical/HVAC Estimator responsible for cost estimating for commercial projects. Position is full time/permanent
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Building Construction Management preferred or equivalent work experience
- Must be well received with equipment and fixture vendors, and material suppliers
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects and PowerPoint);
- Must by proficient with all plumbing piping systems and material types
- Good leader, able to work well with Project Engineers and Superintendents
- Able to get crews to effectively meet deadlines
- Estimating and bidding experience
- Diligent in Safety procedures
- OSHA certified
