Job Details:
Controls Manager – Electrical Engineer - Up to 10K in relocation assistance.
A world leader in manufacturing is looking for a Controls Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Previous experience supervising a technical staff
- Previous experience with automation integration using Siemens PLCs
- Previous experience with Robot teaching and integration using Fanuc robots
- Previous experience with smart vision system integration using Matrox / Cognex / Flir / Keyence / or IR Vision
- 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Supervise a team of hourly and salaried Control engineering personnel
- Coordinate workload and job assignments within a technical team
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and systems integration
- Prepare documentation and lead compliance to a planned maintenance program
- Lead Investigations Controls related issues and recommend solutions
- Oversee revisions to system software to prevent downtime
- Lead troubleshooting of machines and equipment to reduce downtime
- Work with Design Engineers to assure system compatibility for new equipment purchases
- Design industrial control circuits
- Oversee robot programming
- Overall responsibility for the quality of work produced by the Controls and IT team
