CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Philadelphia Area commercial construction general contractor/manager (GC/CM) is seeking a Construction Project Manager with at least five years of experience in commercial construction (corporate/retail/hospitality interiors) and a commitment to excellence to join their team. Looking for true team players focused on delivering completed projects on time, within budget, and at a quality that meets or surpasses the needs of their clients.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects concurrently and duties will include travelling to various job sites/meeting sites to confer with clients and teammates.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates the schedule of projects
Obtain necessary permits and licenses
Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
Oversees expenses related to job.
Write change orders.
Identify, negotiate with, and schedule subcontractors
Resolve conflicts between customer expectations and contractual obligations.
Ensure that all building and safety codes, legal, and local and state regulations are met
Communicate regularly with management and project team members to ensure efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
5 + years in Commercial Construction Project Management (corporate interiors, retail/hospitality spaces)
Project Management experience in multi-family/mixed-use construction
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient at problem-solving
Efficiency, diligence, and reliability in completing project documentation.
Familiarity with Procore and/or BlueBeam a plus
