General Summary
My client a local healthcare/pharmaceutical service agency is seeking an individual well versed in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). This position will conceptualize, execute, and deliver qualitative, analytical, and strategy-based work for clients. Example HEOR projects include global value dossiers, publications, HTA submissions (Health technology assessment), US formulary submissions and educational & training materials. Strong client facing experience working with team to create effective proposals and expand opportunities for potential new business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diversified experience with HE&OR and market access projects and deliverables
- Clear understanding of health economics and evidence-based medicine
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to clearly & effectively relay technical information &health economic concepts with internal staff and with clients
- Proficient in the current US market dynamics, and how HE&OR / market access plays in that environment.
- Previous pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
Skills, Experience, and Other Job Related Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS degree in the life sciences.
- MS/PhD/PharmD/MBA degree in health services research, public health, pharmacoeconomics, health economics, or a related research discipline a plus
- Several years of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) experience with projects such as global value dossiers, publications, HTA submissions, US formulary submissions and related educational & training materials.
- Executes analysis and construction of deliverables for projects
- Contributes to the development of new tools and frameworks that drive efficiency in delivery
- Proven skills in executing research, analyses and constructing deliverables
- High energy level, positive attitude, output-driven and team-oriented
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong ability to establish and grow relationships
- Ability to travel at least 30%, including international travel
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and clients.
