Lead Network/Telephony Engineer (Cisco/Avaya)
Broomall, PA - Full time perm direct hire
I am seeking an engineer to lead a team of 3 Network Engineers while staying technical and hands on.
Qualified candidates should be able to handle the following responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with Network and Telephony (They use Cisco and Avaya)
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of direct reports.
- Own end-to-end delivery of network/voice technology, ensuring maximum performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design, build, test, implement and maintain telecommunication (data/voice) infrastructure. Perform telecommunication modeling and capacity planning.
- Strong data network engineering background with hands on experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN data solutions servicing a complex global organization.
- Demonstrable knowledge of common network service, protocols, and technologies such as BGP/OSPF, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Network routing, switching, firewalls, etc.
The following experience is a plus:
- Experience supporting CI/CD development environments
- Automation, Infrastructure as code experience.
- Previous experience transiting to Cloud-hosted Telephony solution
