UNIX LINUX Automation Monitoring Architect
Global technology company is seeking an Automation Architect. This is a full time, permanent work from home position, offering base salary + bonus, medical benefits, 401K match, and many more perks!
Qualified candidates will have some of the following:
Experience engineering monitoring, reporting and asset management systems for large, enterprise infrastructures.
Experience with effective operational scripting and improvement.
Subject matter expertise with Open Source and Enterprise-class tools such as MicroFocus Operations Bridge and NNMI..
Shell and/or Perl scripting.
Experience with current programming languages and capabilities include Python, Groovy, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of networking, databases and applications and their interdependencies in the context of monitoring.
Experience with asset or configuration management databases.
Experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
Understanding of IT operational processes (e.g. – ITIL concepts).
Preferred Requirements
Experience with UNIX and Windows.
Experience with ITIL and ISO 2001.
Preferred certifications: TOGAF, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, or CISSP.
Experience with Perl, Python, Windows Batch, VBScript, or vSphere PowerCli.
Experience with DNS and BIND support.
Experience with IPSEC VPNs and NAT.
