Job Details:
My client is an well regarded Commercial and Industrial Contractor who is actively seeking both junior and senior level Electrical Estimators. Here are the job duties outlined:
-Become familiar with all contract documents (schedule, specifications, drawings, safety manual, etc.).
-Strong ability and desire to interact with customers.
-Maintain a bid checklist for each job and abide by bid process.
-Submit RFIs for estimating questions by deadline.
-Develop labels that will later be used as cost codes for construction.
-Complete an Excel Front Sheet to generate price.
-Review subcontracts and contracts for accuracy.
-Prepare electrical bids on new construction, tenant improvement projects and material take-offs.
-Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints & amp specifications.
-Process Submittals and RFI's.
-Prior electrical estimating experience in commercial work and thorough knowledge of estimating techniques plus industry standards practices and processes that impact the bid.
-Code knowledge and field experience.
-Ability to organize, prepare scope of work and price proposals.
-Organizational and problem-solving skills.
-Proficient with computerized estimating software, EBM.
