Job Details:
My client is a well regarded regional consulting engineering firm. They seek a Project Engineer for Municipal Engineer role in Conshohocken. Someone who has a Civil Engineering degree and has had some type of experience in a Municipal role. You will deal with various Highway, land development , traffic and environmental issues that arise at the municipal level. Other duties include:
• Develop or implement engineering solutions to assist clients with improving and maintaining their infrastructure.
• Design transportation, utility, facility, or hydraulic systems or structures (as appropriate) using computer assisted design or drawing tools.
• Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data.
• Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and assess potential project impact.
• Perform all design activities ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations.
