Job Details:
The Network Voice Communications Analyst position has the responsibility to administer and troubleshoot various telecommunications systems (PBX) in VoIP technologies. This team member will assist in the administration and implementation of Voice Network systems, and be able to administer Voice over IP. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Serving as a Network Voice Comm Analyst for telecommunications systems (PBX) including VoIP technologies - Fault Isolation Troubleshooting of Enterprise Voice Networks and associated Peripheral Components - Service Management to include Incident, Change and Service Request Management - Provide Customer Service and Technical Support to Lockheed Martin Customers - Problem coordination and escalation with Enterprise Voice System Vendors - Performing Adds, Moves, and Changes on Voice Networks - Updating Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) - Configuring and maintaining Call Managers and Voice Gateways - Responding, replacing, and repairing voice communication equipment to maintain optimum availability for the customer base - Willingness to work some off hours and on-call rotation providing 24X7 support Some travel as required.Basic QualificationsDemonstrated understanding of telecommunications standards and concepts Demonstrated experience in telecommunications switching systems administration and implementation Working knowledge of carrier telecommunications technologies (e.g. ISDN, SIP, and VoIP) Working knowledge of analog and VoIP endpoint provisioning, administration, and troubleshooting Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance Able to successfully multitask assignments and perform in a schedule driven environment Demonstrated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision Working knowledge of TCP/IP, switching and routing technologiesDesired skillsCCNACisco CUCMAvaya CMREDCOMKnowledge of Configuration Management within an IT organization Knowledge of Remedy or ITSM support Knowledge of Cable Plant operationsKnowledge of commercially provided circuits (Point-to-point, Dedicated)Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio
